This documentary, directed by Dutch producer and director Evert Van Den Bos, shows the work of researchers at the Charles Darwin Research Station and the Galapagos National Park Authority (GNPD) to preserve the unique Galapagos Islands.

It's a magnificent portrait of this unique archipelago, which we all love, and its nature in the middle of the Pacific Ocean. This film is filled with magnificent images, unspoiled nature and unique animals.

The Galapagos Islands, made world-famous by Charles Darwin, are, like the rest of the world, threatened by climate change. It's in all our interests to combat this phenomenon. That's why this film shows a new facet of the Galapagos, where people and animals live in close collaboration.

It tells the story of passionate researchers striving to preserve this unique but fragile ecosystem. The documentary succeeds in taking viewers on an inspiring journey towards a sustainable future.

As a virtual member of the research team, discover the monitoring of Galapagos penguins and albatrosses, the study of sharks in the Galapagos Marine Reserve, the study of the migration and health of giant tortoises, the fight against invasive species, as well as work on many other projects we support.

The movie, running around 85 minutes, will be shown in English with German subtitles.

The aperitif that follows will give us an opportunity to talk about what we've seen, meet acquaintances or ask questions to the director, Mr. Evert Van Den Bos, who will probably be present.

There is no admission charge for this event, but we would ask you to make a generous donation to support conservation projects in the Galapagos.
